Hanna-Kaisa Hämäläinen, born in 1975, received her Master of Arts degree from the University of Art and Design Helsinki in 2004. She has worked as a freelance photographer and photojournalist for many different photographic projects, newspapers and magazines since the turn of the new millenia. She is currently the head of the board of Finnish Press Photographers Association. She also works as the photo editor of Photo Raw Magazine.
